Zorin OS는 리눅스-기반 컴퓨터를 처음 사용하는 사용자를 위해 설계되고 홍보되는 개인용 컴퓨터 운영 시스템입니다.[4][5] 내장 기능 중 하나를 통해 사용자는 인터페이스를 마이크로소프트 윈도우 또는 macOS와 유사하게 변경할 수 있습니다.[6][3][7] Wine과 PlayOnLinux는 Zorin OS에 쉽게 설치될 수 있으며,[8] 사용자에게 쉽게 전환할 수 있도록 호환되는 윈도우 소프트웨어를 실행하도록 허용합니다. 매체 구하기
홈페이지에서 직접 받아야 합니다. Zorin OS 16.1 Pro는 39 달러 (부가세 별도)에 판매를 하고 있고, Zorin OS 16.1 Core는 무료로 다운로드할 수 있습니다.

설치 시작
CD로 부팅을 시작하고, 설치 미디어 검사 과정이 있습니다. 그놈 화면이 올라온 후에, 너무 많은 시간이 지난 후에, 설치 화면이 올라옵니다. ESC를 누르면 검사 과정을 중지합니다.
- Welcome: 설치 언어를 선택하고, Install Zorin OS를 누릅니다.
- Keyboard layout: Korean/Korean을 선택합니다.
- Updates and other software : 모두 선택 해제하고 진행합니다. (어떤 미러를 사용할지 알 수 없어서 설치 시간을 예측할 수 없기 때문입니다)
- Installation type: Erase disk and install Zorin OS를 선택합니다.
- Write the changes to disks?: 확인을 하고 계속합니다.
- Where are you?: 자동으로 Seoul을 검색해 줍니다.
- Who are you?: 사용자를 만듭니다.
- Install: 시스템을 설치합니다. (우분투와 마찬가지로, 업데이트를 선택하지 않음에도 불구하고, 네트워크에서 정보를 가져와서 설치하려고 시도합니다. Skip을 여러번 눌러서 중지하십시오.)
- Installation Complete: 재시작합니다.
Configuration
업데이트를 확인하니, 우분투 20.04 (focal)를 기반으로 만든 것임을 확인할 수 있습니다. 부팅 후에는 별다른 이상 동작없이 작동하는 것으로 보입니다.

- Yaru theme로 전환
- sudo apt install gnome-tweaks

설치는 되지만, 그놈을 시작하지는 못합니다. 다시 복구하기 위해, 다음 패키지를 설치할 수 있습니다:
- sudo apt install zorin-desktop-session zorin-desktop-themes
게다가, 우분투 데스크탑을 설치하려고 해도, mask를 걸어두어서 설치할 수 없습니다. 아마도 /etc/apt 아래의 파일에서 설정을 수정할 수 있을 것으로 기대됩니다.
